• Girls on the Run NOVA is in over 190 schools in the Northern Virginia area
• Approximately 3000 girls participate in the program each season
• Over 30% of girls in the program are receiving financial assistance to participate
• Girls participating in the program were found to have a statistically significant increase in their self esteem, eating attitudes and behaviors
• Prevalence of obesity among children 6 to 11 has increased from 6.5% in the 70's to 17% in a recent survey

Girls on the Run NOVA is actively seeking sponsors to assist in our mission in the community for a mutually beneficial partnership in support of our program.
